Product Descriptions

All product descriptions are given as a guide and pictures are provided for illustration purposes only.  As manufactures are constantly redeveloping and improving products, specifications and packaging may vary from that illustrated.  In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply a particular product that you have ordered, we reserve the right to send a reasonable substitute of equal or greater value.  If we are unable to substitute the product, we will contact you to discuss other options available.

 

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier.  Just browse the website and select the items that you wish to buy by putting them into the shopping cart.  Once you have finished making your selection, click on one of the check out buttons from the shopping cart page.  You will be asked for a few details that we will need to be able to fulfil your order.

All payments are processed via Paypal.  Paypal's site is a secure site and you do not need to have a Paypal account in order to purchase from us.

 

Postage & Pricing

We are based in Cambridgeshire in the UK, and at present are only able to ship orders within the UK.

We have made every effort to ensure that our delivery costs are kept to an absolute minimum.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days of your order being placed.  However, this can sometimes be a bit longer due to busy periods eg. Easter & Christmas or if we are awaiting stock of a particular item.  Should there be a delay in the dispatch of your order, we will notify you by email so that you are aware.  All customers will receive an email to notify them when the order has been dispatched.

All orders are sent by Royal Mail or courier (usually Parcel Force), this depends on the weight of the order.  Orders are usually delivered within 5 working days from being dispatched, however please allow a little longer during peak periods.

Any orders placed after 5pm on a Thursday are unlikely to be posted until Monday, this is due to the shows we will be attending, if the order is urgent please email to see if the event we are attending is local to you which will then allow us to meet up and complete delivery.

 

Privacy Policy

Peter's Pantry do not disclose buyers information to third parties.  Your details are used purely in order to take and fulfil your order, administer and enhance our service, and to keep you up to date with new products and special offers.   We only disclose information to third parties (Royal Mail or Courier) in order to deliver your order.

 

Returns Policy

Please note that Peter's Pantry can not be held responsible for any claims for loss, damage, injury or any insurance claim.  Peter's Pantry does not manufacture any items, so will not accept any responsibility for any problems resulting from any product supplied.  All such claims should be directed to the manufacturers, of which we can supply you with details of for the purpose of the claim.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from Peter's Pantry.  We do our best to ensure that products ordered are in excellent condition when they are dispatched.

Due to the nature of chocolate and certain sweets, it is beyond our control to be able to guarantee that the sweets will not be transported in excess heat/cold by our carriers.  Therefore we can only guarantee the condition of the products when they are dispatched.

Please note that if a parcel is delivered but "refused" and returned to us, we are not able to refund any postal charges incurred on your order, as we would still have been charged this by the courier company or Royal Mail.  This is also the same for un-delivered parcels returned to us by Royal Mail, where the parcel is marked "customer did not collect", "no address known" etc.....

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your order, you may return it to us in its original packaging within 7 days of receipt for a refund.  Please note we will not cover the cost of return postage, unless an error has occurred on our part and has been agreed with us prior to the return of any items.
